We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Van Driver with Sales and Administration experience to join our Rosyth team.

This current vacancy is a versatile role, requiring driving duties in our 3.5 tonne curtain sided vehicle as well as working in our warehouse and showroom.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Drive company delivery vehicles (3.5 tonne)
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report maintenance issues immediately.
• Refuel and clean vehicle
• Pick orders from the warehouse
• General warehousing duties
• Load goods and unloaded vehicles safely and within legislation (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods)
• Provide excellent customer service
• Administrative duties
• Process sales orders
• Process purchase orders
• Liaise with customers
• Outbound sales calls
• Communicate customer sales information with company sales representatives
• Assisting in managing daily operations
• Demonstrate a flexible approach by way of possible early starts and late finishes sometimes at short notice
• Other tasks required

You’ll have the opportunity to drive one of our 3.5 tonne vehicles from our branch in Rosyth, to locations throughout Scotland.

To apply for this role you will need the following:

• A valid clean Drivers Licence, with entitlement to drive a 3.5 tonne vehicle
• Previous multi drop experience is preferred but not essential as training will be given
• Computer literate and experience with Microsoft packages
• Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work
• Work well within a small team
• No previous disqualifications DD, TT, DR, CD, IN
• Ideally will have a current forklift licence (not essential)
• Proof of ‘Right To Work’ in the UK with no serious unspent criminal convictions

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £12.44 per hour

Expected Hours: 39 hours per week

Schedule: Day shift; Monday to Friday

Working hours:

• Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30
• Friday 08:00 – 15:30

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Rosyth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Driving 3.5 ton vehicle: 1 year (required)

License/Certification:

• Full clean driving licence required
• Forklift licence (preferable)
