Compared with our single white gloss panel design, our double white gloss panel offers a more apparent and repeated join across your ceiling with recesses every 250mm width.
Are plastic ceiling panels good for your bathroom?
Top quality, with minimal effort, pvc ceiling is a great solution for your bathroom.
Not only does it improve condensation and increase hygiene levels - they can contribute to increasing the value of your home.
Can you join pvc ceiling panels?
Joining ceiling panels together is quick and easy thanks to their built-in tongue and groove system. A simple combination of screws and silicone sealant is all that is required to secure the product in place.
We also recommend using coving during installation, for around the perimeter of your bathroom ceilings. This will provide a neat area in which to slot the ends of your panels, for a professional looking finish.
Alternatively you can just opt to seal with silicone sealant.
How do I install a ceiling panel?
Ceiling panels are relatively quick and easy to install and can be carried out by DIY enthusiasts, as well as experienced tradespeople.
The below bullet points outline the key principles for any ceiling cladding installation:
- Beginning with your coving, block out the perimeter of your ceiling
- Grab your first ceiling panel and apply grip adhesive to the back, then slot in to position
- Dot screws along the exposed long length to secure in place
- On your next panel then apply silicone sealant along the long edge, with panel adhesive to the back and place in situ
- Again, screw in place along the exposed edge
- Repeat this process until you have clad the full ceiling area
How do I clean a gloss white panel?
Gloss white panels can be easily wiped clean from any residue with just the assistance of a damp cloth and mild detergent.
We recommend doing this on a weekly basis at least to keep your panels looking their best.
How long will delivery of my ceiling panels take?
All of our ceiling panels are held in stock and readily available, meaning we can quickly despatch them from any of our showroom locations.
Our typical delivery lead time is between two and ten working days and can be organised to a time slot and date that suits you.
Alternatively you can opt to collect from your local branch, however we would always recommend to check your vehicle dimensions and stock quantities before visiting.
Additional information regarding ceiling cladding
Please Note: There may be the appearance of a scalloped edge at the top and bottom of the panel, this is not a fault, it is the industry standard finish on a PVC wall or ceiling product.
Please Note: Rearo carry out regular quality control checks on all our products. From time to time slight shading may be apparent. All Ancona ceiling panels are stocked in batch numbers and therefore we would expect slight variances between batches. To avoid any disruption to your project, we recommend buying the total amount of required panels at one time to ensure batch consistency. All panels must be checked for colour match shading differences before they are fitted, Rearo will not be accountable for any refitting charges if shading is discovered after fitting.
Please Note: The above information also applies between both our 2.7m and 4m lengths and we cannot guarantee an exact shade match between sizes.
