While the original customer service was first class, the problem occurred on the day of delivery. We are both over 70 years old and did not appreciate the size the breakfast bar was going to be or the weight of same when asked if “someone” would be available to help the one delivery driver in with the order we agreed. As mentioned my husband found it most difficult to carry and a neighbour had to come out and help. My husband did lose his grip of the BB onto his knee and a small corner of the BB was damaged by him. This was witnessed by the driver and a neighbour. Once the driver had left, on inspection there was a deep scratch in the middle of the breakfast bar. Luckily this piece was able to be cut off by my joiner as it was not required. I sent the 2 photos to notify the company (more to alert them of the damage not caused by my husband and also mentioned that I think they should be advising customers of such heavy weights in case they do not feel able to assist the driver. I do not feel that I received a satisfactory response/s to my emails and would therefore not recommend this company albeit the quality of the work tops and breakfast bar is excellent
