A rural, rustic oak wood look, our Heritage Hampshire worktop offers a welcoming and homely feel within your kitchen.

A rich brown colour, this laminate design has an authentic solid wood texture on the surface of the worktop, complete with deep formed grain lines, thanks to the assistance of fusion technology.

Complete the country feel by pairing with our matching kitchen splashback, upstand, or breakfast bar options.

Why should I choose laminate wood effect worktops over solid wood?

Laminate is the perfect option for those wanting to achieve the look of solid wood but not willing to invest the time or money on its upkeep.

Laminate does not require any treatment and is completely non-porous, meaning any spillages or grease will rest on a laminate worktop surface.

By comparison, a solid wood worktop will need to be treated regularly with oil to protect the worktop surface from water.

Laminate also offers superior scratch resistance, a unique feature of our Heritage worktops is that they are supplied as standard with decorative laminate to the front and back of the panel. Not only does this minimise the impact of any damages, but also allows for multiple applications of your worktop - including a free-standing design.

Scratching on solid wood requires sanding and re-treatment to ensure its longevity.

And finally, all Heritage products are covered with a lifetime warranty and require minimal maintenance, whereas solid wood's longevity relies on regular oiling.

How to care for laminate worktops

Possessing an enduring quality of style and functionality, not only will your worktop impress for its look and feel but will also withstand the rigors of modern living.

Laminate is easily maintained and cleaning is carried out with just a simple wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

Accessories required for wood effect worktops

For a professional result, we recommend the use of our bespoke match ColorFill sealant and spatula when joining two mitred worktops together.

Alternatively, for a quick fix, we also stock a range of worktop trims with our kitchen accessories section.

One-metre edging strips are also available to buy to cover any exposed edges should you need to cut the length of your selected worktop.
